20th Century Ghosts by Joe Hill

20th Century Ghosts by Joe HillTitle: 20th Century Ghosts

Author: Joe Hill

Call #: HIL

This collection of short horror stories by Stephen King’s son is delightfully gruesome. Straightforward plot devices make getting to the gore a short trip; Joe Hill is even more violent and bloody than his father. Largely unrelated stories make each tale seem fresh and different. Classic horror elements such as ghosts, killers, madmen and secluded areas are used to their full extent. The stories remind the reader of something they may have heard while sitting around a campfire.

  1. I agree John. I am so glad you liked the book. I thought you would. His new one (Horns) comes out real soon. I am already on hold for it.

  2. I’ve always felt that the short story format is naturally perfect for horror. His new book is a full length novel, I believe. I’ll be sure to look forward to it.
